1998. Lots of shouting. "Go that way! No the other way!" We worked many hours to get to this point. My mom and I were on level 98 of Mrs. Pac Man, gunning for 100. Then we hit 99. The ghosts caught my mom and it looked like all hope was lost. "No no no!" It was so close I couldn't tell if I ate the last pellet or died. If you could witness our joy when we saw the flashing screen of victory! From that moment I knew I wanted to make that same joy possible for others. At 7 years old I knew that I wanted to make games.

I made my first game at 12 years old. I started teaching game programming at local libraries at 17. I took game development classes in college. I learned a lot of things over the years. Most of all I learned that making games is hard, even for someone that's been doing it from an early age. It encompasses so many disciplines, from programming to design, from modeling to writing, from music to publishing. It's no wonder many projects fail; there's just so much that could go wrong!

It pains me to see great ideas suffer from not-so-great execution. I founded Dream Woven Games in the summer of 2019 with one main goal in mind: offer my best skills to projects that need them. Dream Woven offers software development, game design, and quality assurance for game and game-adjacent projects. And for all the other things I can't do, I know someone who can. So go ahead, Press Start. Let's make your dream a reality!
